Dr. Stephanie Cory graduated as a veterinarian from the University of Montreal in 2009 but worked for most of her career in Western Canada. She completed a small animal rotating internship at the University of Saskatchewan’s vet college in 2009-2010, then stayed on with the WCVM as a Clinical Associate for a year before moving on to private practice. She worked in a few small animal clinics in Saskatchewan and Alberta.
Her main professional interests are internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, ultrasound, and nurturing the owner-pet bond. She can perform referral abdominal ultrasounds and echocardiograms, with the option of images and clips being sent to an internist or cardiologist for specialist review and report.
She and her family share their home with 4 cats and 1 dog, all rescues collected from work!
She can't wait to meet you and your furry companions!
Dr. Ilse Dedden graduated as a veterinarian from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015 and has worked in both mixed and small animal practice in various practices in Saskatchewan.
Her main interests are surgery, dentistry, wellness and ultrasound.
She has 2 dogs named Maverick and Hollywood and 2 horses named Vienna and Morello.

Dr. Sunghyang Choi, originally from South Korea, obtained her DVM in 2013 and has been practicing in the Saskatoon area since 2019.
She has special interests in surgery, exotic animal medicine, and internal medicine including treating chronic and complex medical conditions.

Dr. Nicole Schaefer graduated as a veterinarian from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2025. She is very excited to be starting her career in Saskatoon at Brighton Veterinary Clinic.
She is interested in all things related to small animal general practice, including; internal medicine, wellness appointments, medical imaging, surgery and dentistry.
She and her boyfriend recently adopted a spunky cat named Kiwi that she met during her clinical rotations at WCVM.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going on outdoor adventures, and exploring Saskatoon's food scene.
She is looking forward to working with you and your own adorable critters!

Leslie was born and raised on a farm in central Saskatchewan. It was there that she developed her love for all animals big and small. For Leslie, the best part about being a Registered Veterinary Technician is helping educate pet parents, guiding them on the best treatments for their pets, helping them prevent diseases and illnesses and enabling pet owners to do what is best for their pet. Leslie is also a Certified Peaceful Euthanasia Professional (CPEP).
When Leslie is not at work, her 5-year-old daughter and 1-year-old Shiba Inu named Kaia keep her very busy.

Chantel lives in Martensville with her husband, her dog Finnagin and her cat Puddin. Two passions of hers in veterinary medicine are surgery and dentistry. When she's not at work, she enjoys all things outdoor; riding her horse, camping, kayaking and playing soccer.
She is excited to meet all of you and your fur babies!

After completing an Animal Bioscience degree in 2021, Taylor graduated from the Saskatchewan Polytech in 2023 as a veterinary technician. She has a special interest in rehabilitation and physical therapy, and likes to help pets feel their best. She has three dogs and a cat: Rooster, Senna, Sora and Bella.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, camping, and competing in flyball and disc with her pups!

Haylie-Ann graduated in 2019 from Lakeland College's Veterinary Technology program in Vermillion, Alberta. She has a 5-year-old Border Collie mix named Paisley. Haylie-Ann's favourite part about working in a veterinary clinic are puppy vaccine and wellness appointments and helping pet owners navigate through the challenging but exciting puppy stage.

April grew up on a grain farm north of Prince Albert. She came to Saskatoon and obtained a degree in Agriculture in Animal Science at the U of S. She then attended Saskatchewan Polytechnic and became an RVT. She has worked mostly in mixed animal practices in and around Saskatoon.
Her favorite parts of being a tech are helping with diagnostics and client education. She has an energetic border collie cross named Leon that keeps her busy outside of work. Along with reading, crocheting, and tending to her garden and flowers.
She looks forward to meeting you and your pets!

Nadine graduated from Saskatchewan Polytechnic as a Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) in 2023. After graduating she started working at a small animal clinic in saskatoon before joining our team in the fall of 2025.
Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is that no two days are the same. Nadine has always had a love for animals and throughout her life has had quiet a few different types of animals.
In her spare time she likes to do all kinds of outdoor activity's such as camping, fishing, kayaking and sitting around the campfire with friends and family.

Katie grew up in the beautiful northern community of La Ronge where she fell in love with veterinary medicine after volunteering with the Northern Animal Rescue/WCVM spay, neuter and wellness clinics.
She graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a degree in Animal Bioscience in 2020. After working in the industry in both a large and small animal capacity, she found her passion in small animal medicine and enjoys the challenges and opportunities that present with a career as a veterinary technologist.
Katie loves being able to support clients and their pets through all life stage's and particularly enjoys providing client education.
At the moment, her and her husband have one cat at home who was a rescue from the SPCA that runs the house. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors and teaching indoor cycling here in Saskatoon.

Mekayla was born and raised in Saskatoon and graduated as a registered veterinary technologist (RVT) from Saskatchewan Polytechnic in 2021. She started her career in a mixed animal practice, then transitioned to the city to be closer to friends and family.
Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is the diverse people and animals she gets to help on a daily basis. She enjoys working with all kinds of animals and currently has two (ish) pets; two mischievous cats named Fender Bender and Sootsprite along with a variety of foster pets when she has the space.
In Mekayla's spare time she enjoys baking, crafts like embroidery or crochet, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.

Kendra is originally from a small town near Saskatoon, SK and has always had a deep love for all animals, big and small. Right after high school, she attended Lakeland College in Vermilion, AB and graduated from the Animal Health Technology program in 2018. Since then, she has worked at a few mixed animal practices in both Sask and Alberta; and has formed her own little "family" of pets throughout her years in practice.
Kendra moved and joined our team in December 2025 after being accepted into the Combined Laboratory and Xray Technician program at Saskpoly Tech here in Saskatoon. She is still very passionate about all things veterinary medicine, but is excited to see the overlap in information and technical skills she will develop as she branches into the human medicine side of things. Her favorite part of vet med is getting to interact with clients and their pets and all things lab/xray.
When she is not working at the clinic or deep in school work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, camping, baking, all things crafting, and most importantly, spending time with her animals.

Terry is very excited to be working with the team at Brighton Vet and can't wait to meet you and your furry family members! She is an avid animal lover with two busy Golden Retrievers and three cats at home. She is also the mom of three amazing kids. In her downtime, she loves to crochet, craft, read. and go camping.

Melanie has a long background of working with all kinds of animals, from training horses at a young age to training dogs through fear-free and positive reinforcement methods starting in 2021. Melanie has also worked in veterinary clinics for over 12 years.
Melanie completed her Animal Bioscience degree in 2021, and diploma in Health Information Management in 2025.
Her and her husband currently share their house with two dogs, Miss Foxy & Miss Lilybean and their clowder of cats. Melanie recently purchased a retired racehorse named Addydidit, who she has begun training using positive reinforcement methods; incorporating clicker and target stick training.
Melanie's heart dog, Benjamin, who sadly passed away in 2023, was such a huge part of her life and taught her so much. Benjamin is one of the most important reasons for Melanie pursuing veterinary technology in Jan 2026.
Outside of work, Melanie can be found at the barn, training classes or other activities with her pets!

Lindsey is a part-time veterinary receptionist and veterinary assistant at Brighton Veterinary Clinic and working towards her degree in Psychology. She has been working in veterinary clinics for the last 10 years and loves the learning that each day brings. While she enjoys all aspects of working in a vet clinic, Lindsey particular likes getting to be part of the life journey of pets and their pet parents.
She loves all animals; furry, scaly and feathered, and currently has two dogs of her own, Kanako and Kitsu, and many pet birds.
When she isn't working or in class she spends her time in their company going for walks, working on tricks or just hanging out.

Ashley is a part-time veterinary receptionist and veterinary assistant with Brighton Veterinary Clinic. She loves animals and currently shares her home with dogs, cats, and rabbits. Occasionally she'll have a foster as well. She doesn't have any reptiles at the moment, but loves them too!

Brooke is a veterinary receptionist and veterinary assistant with Brighton Veterinary Clinic. She graduated this past June with her degree in Animal Bioscience from the University of Saskatchewan. She is also a new foster support for first time fosters with Saskatoon Dog Rescue. She has a foster fail 3 year old kitty named Josie.
Outside of work she enjoys going for walks, pilates, and spending time with Josie.

Chloe moved here from Ontario in 2023 to attend the University of Saskatchewan where she obtained a Master of Veterinary Biomedical Science. She has future plans of becoming a veterinarian with emphasis in research.
Chloe joined the team as a receptionist/vet assistant in March 2026 and her favourite part of veterinary medicine is client education, helping guide owners to make informed decisions for their pets.
When she is not at the clinic or working on research projects, Chloe enjoys reading, snowboarding, fishing and hanging out with her 3 dogs and 2 cats.
